First edition (transposition)
The Four Duets from J. S. Bach's Piano Exercise 3. Some are pieces (like the two-part inventions, albeit in a much larger size) for a keyboard instrument. The two parts are very well suited for making music with violin and violoncello, as well as - and this is the new feature in the present edition - with violin and viola.
Despite its strict form, very playful music.
A transposition of the cello part for viola is included with the edition.
